Service Description
The majority of the work I do is with clients & patients on a one to one basis. Using varying techniques I help you heal the past to embrace the present so you can create a happy future. I’m able to make changes in both the conscious & unconscious minds meaning changes are more deeply embedded in a positive way. Talking Therapy - Just by talking out loud about something on our mind we can process it differently and more effectively. I help you make sense of how you are feeling and have the ability to spot causes of negative beliefs and patterns in behaviour that support them. I give you your ‘Why?’ and offer different ways to perceive events to reduce the emotional impact or trauma. Hypnotherapy - I guide you through a process to induce a trance-like state that helps you focus your mind, respond more readily to suggestions, & become deeply relaxed. Hypnotherapy utilizes the heightened awareness of the hypnotic state to help you focus on a problem more deeply & accesses trauma & memories hidden in the unconscious mind. Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP), is the practice of understanding how people organize their thinking & language & how this affects behavior. I use this to break down unhealthy beliefs & behavioral strategies that are no longer needed, creating new ones to support the changes you wish to make. CBT is based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations & actions are interconnected, & that negative thoughts & feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle. I use CBT to help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. I give you a reframing journal exercise to complete between sessions to help take control of your thoughts and feelings. Sessions are approximately a week apart & usually last a minimum of an hour but can go longer if time & energy permits. I need three things from you: * Trust me and the process * Openness and honesty * Effort in the sessions and in between There’s no obligation to book sessions until you are ready.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made within a 24 hour notice period or the session will be lost and no refund given.
